Q

Glycosidic bonds

A

Monosaccharides CONDENSE to form glycosidic bonds

Hemiacetyl + alcohol (1 and 4)

Once the hemiacytl binds it can o longer open up and is no longer a reducing sugar however the newly bonded will still have a reducing end
