Time References
Indicating periods of time in the future:
pasado mañana = the day AFTER tomorrow
el próximo lunes = el lunes queue vienve (NEXT Monday)
el próximo 16 de julio = NEXT July 16
la semana que viene / la próxima semana = NEXT week
el mes que viene / el próximo mes = NEXT month

Talking about the future
We use a time expression indicating a future time period + the present form of the verb to express future actions. This presents a future action as certain and under control. We are talking about something we know and that will happen:
Mañana = voy a San Pedro (I’m going to San Pedro)
El mes que viene = regreso a la República Dominicana (I am going back to DR.
El 15 de julio = vamos al teatro (we are going to the theater)
La próxima semana = nos reunimos con Marco (we are meeting Marco
Express future actions:
use ir a + infinitive

El próximo año VAMOS A HACER un viaje por el norte de la isla = Next year WE’RE GOING TO MAKE a trip in the north of the island.
Expressing Conditions
The most common way to express a condition for something to happen is using si (= if) + a verb. the verb after si is in the present, and the verb in the other clause is in the present or in the future:
SI SALIMOS a las seis de la mañana, VAMOS A LLEGAR sin problemas al aeropuerto = IF WE LEAVE at six in the morning, we WILL ARRIVE at the airport with no problems.
Podemos llegar el viernes por la tarde SI VIAJAMOS en coche = We CAN ARRIVE on Friday IF WE GO by car.
