Competence
- The ability to do something successfully or efficiently
- The quality or state of having sufficient knowledge, judgment, skill, or strength (as for a particular duty or in a particular respect)
Diligence
Steady, earnest, and energetic effort: devoted and painstaking work and application to accomplish an undertaking

(1) A lawyer who is engaged in another profession or occupation concurrently with the practice of law shall expressly provide in the pertinent contract the nature of the services the lawyer is engaged to perform.
(2) The practice of another profession or occupation shall not jeopardize such lawyer’s competence
