What is the effect of a high angle shot?
Makes the characer appear vulnerable and insignificant

What is the effect of a tracking shot?
Involves the audience
Used in hospital dramas to track the trolley - audience caught in panic and action
What is a zoom?
When the audience move from a long shot towards the subject - close up allows the audience to see the emeotion of the character
What is a panning shot ?
The camera moves across a sceneto show location - in a hip pan the camera moves at speed causing a blurring effect to show pace and action
How is a tilt shot used?
To imply mystery when introducing a character to show feet and then gradually the face. The audience makes assumptions about a character
How are close ups used in print?
Conveys the star persona and attracts fan base
