What is Task Level?
Fireground operations at the individual or company level
What is Tactical Level?
Operations at the division or group level, identified by phonetic ID on the radio (“Division Alpha,” “Rescue Group”)
What is Strategic Level?
Operations at the command level with main strategies of Offensive, Defensive, or Combination
Three Command Modes?
Assume Command: Command required for large incidents
Pass Command: Focus on immediate tactical tasks; command passed to next arriving officer

Level III RIC: 3 companies (or >), one of which will be a (4-person) rescue/squad company, & 1 Chief Officer

Incapacity: Obese? Handicap? Unconscious? Anything to hinder rescue

Age: Predictable behavioral patterns could determine location of victim, if otherwise unknown
