REJECTED TAKEOFF

A

Same call outs as normal
CA: If FO Takeoff, will have the thrust levers, FO will be braking and have control of yoke
- FO: advises tower (need of evacuation) and tells passengers (remain seated, remain seated, remain seated)

STEEP TURNS

A
  • PF: Autopilot off, cancel FD
  • Roll into 45 degrees bank (either 180 or 360 turn)
  • At 30 degrees, add 2-3% N1, pitch attitude +2.5 degrees above horizon to maintain altitude
  • 15 degrees before rollout heading, roll wings level and reduce 2-3% N1
  • PF: Heading Mode, note the ALTS CAP selected, if not adjust heading, after ALTS CAP, say Autopilot on
