More than 1/2 a million people are pavement people
Most bustee family’s live in tiny over crowded houses (no bigger than a averaged sized Irish bathroom)

Buildings are crammed together and almost every scrap of land is taken up

A
Up to 50 share a single tap and they are the lucky ones
Many pavement people have to drink unfiltered water this can lead to certain diseases such as dysentery

Toilet and kitchen waste flows in open drains and after heavy rain the waste can flood onto roads ants sometimes into homes
