Q

How to carry out a Titration

A
  1. Measure a known volume of alkali into a flask using a volumetric pipette. Measure from the bottom of the Meniscus.
  2. Add a few drops of indicator (phenolphthalein- Pink in alkali, colourless in acid)
  3. Pour acid into a Burette. Drop into alkali until alkali changes colour.
  4. Measure how much acid it took, an repeat until you get two identical results.
