Engine Fire in Flight
Affected Engine:
- POWER LEVER FLIGHT IDLE
- CONDITION LEVER START AND FEATHER
- ALTERNATE FEATHER FEATHER
- T-HANDLE. PULL
- AUX PUMP OFF
- EXTINGUISHER FWD BOTTLE
30 Seconds. If fire persists:
- EXTINGUISHER AFT BOTTLE
ENGINE FAILURE OR FIRE IN FLIGHT CHECKLIST
Engine Fire on Ground
- PARK BRAKE SET
Affected Engine:
- POWER LEVER FLIGHT IDLE
- CONDITION LEVER FUEL OFF
- T-HANDLE PULL
- AUX PUMP (BOTH) OFF
- EXTINGUISHER FWD BOTTLE
30 Seconds. If fire persists:
- EXTINGUISHER AFT BOTTLE
ENGINE FIRE ON GROUND CHECKLIST
1 or #2 ENG OIL PRESS Warning or Low Oil Pressure
(Oil Pressure Below 55 PSI)
1 or #2 ENG OIL PRESS or LOW OIL PRESSURE CHECKLIST
Affected Engine:
- OIL PRESSURE CONFIRM BELOW 55 PSI
- POWER LEVER FLIGHT IDLE
- CONDITION LEVER START AND FEATHER
- ALTERNATE FEATHER FEATHER
Propeller Ground Range Lights Cycling
POWER LEVERS ADVANCE ABOVE FLIGHT IDLE
PROPELLOR GROUND RANGE LIGHT CYCLING CHECKLIST
Elevator Control Jam
- AUTOPILOT DISENGAGE
Retain flap setting and approx airspeed at time of jam if control still jammed, both pilots attempt to control by force against jam. I unable to overcome jam:
- CONTROL COLUMN FORCE RELAX
- PITCH DISC HANDLE PULL AND TURN 90 DEG
- AIRCRAFT CONTROL TRANSFER TO PILOT WITH PITCH CONTROL
ELEVATOR CONTROL JAM CHECKLIST
Elevator Control Fail
If manual trim wheel operates:
- MANUAL TRIM NOSE UP/DOWN AS REQUIRED
If manual trim wheel will not operate:
- STANDBY ELEVATOR TRIM ARM
- NOSE UP/DOWN AS REQUIRED
ELEVATOR CONTROL FAIL CHECKLIST
Roll Control Jam
- AUTOPILOT DISENGAGE
If control still jammed:
- ROLL DISC HANDLE PULL AND TURN 90 DEG
- AIRCRAFT CONTROL TRANSFER TO PILOT WITH ROLL CONTROL

Uncommanded Roll
- AUTOPILOT DISENGAGE
- ROLL CONTROL HOLD WINGS LEVEL
If SPLR 1 or SPLR 2 is illuminated:
- SPLR 1 OR 2 PUSH OFF

Rudder Control Jam
Use roll control as required for directional control

Aircraft Fire or Smoke or SMOKE Warning or Lavatory Smoke Detector
- O2 MASK DONNING PROCEDURE ACCOMPLISH
Divert immediately to nearest suitable airport
SMOKE Warning CHECKLIST - or - AIRCRAFT FIRE OR SMOKE LAVATORY SMOKE DETECTOR CHECKLIST
PASS DOOR (all series) or
SERV DOOR or FWD EXIT DOOR (-300) Warnings
Do not attempt to secure door in flight
- FASTEN BELTS ON
- FLIGHT ATTENDANT ADVISE
Ensure all occupants remain clear of main cabin door. Take seat and fasten seatbelt. If possible, use seat away from main cabin door.

BAG DOOR Warning
- FASTEN BELTS ON
- FLIGHT ATTENDANT ADVISE
Take seat and fasten seat belt
BAG DOOR (Warning Light) CHECKLIST
CABIN PRESS Warning and/or Rapid Decompression
(above 15,000 ft)
- O2 MASK DONNING PROCEDURE (if required) ACCOMPLISH
- EMERGENCY DESCENT (if required) INITIATE
CABIN PRESS (Warning Light) and/or RAPID DEPRESSURIZATION CHECKLIST
O2 Mask Donning Procedure
- HEADSEAT REMOVE
- OXYGEN MASK DON
- SMOKE GOGGLES (if req) DON
- PURGE VALVE (if req) PULL
- REGULATOR (if req) EMERGENCY
- HEADSET ON
- HOT MIC OFF
- MASK/MIC SWITCH MASK
Utilize interphone switch for crew communications
Emergency Descent
- FASTEN BELTS ON
- POWER LEVERS FLIGHT IDLE
- CONDITION LEVERS MAX
- DESCENT INITIATE TO 10,000 FT OR MEA
- AIRSPEED VMO
If structural integrity is in doubt limit airspeed and maneuvering loads as much as possible.
