What are the attributes of God?
The attributes of God are qualities of God that help us understand the mystery of God.
What is YHWH?
YHWH are the four letters of the Hebrew alphabet for the name for God that God revealed to Moses.
There are 6 attributes of God that help us understand who God revealed himself to be. What are they?
One - God is one, there is only one God.
Lord - God revealed the divine name YHWH to describe himself.
Almighty - God is almighty meaning that he alone can do anything.
Eternal - God is eternal meaning he had no beginning and will have no end.
Truth and Love - God is always abounding in love and faithfulness. His word is always true. God is love.
Holy - God is holy. No one and no thing that he created is equal to him.
What does Abba mean?
Abba means dear Father. Jesus revealed how much he loved and trusted his Father.
When we call God our Father what are we really saying?
We are saying that we are all children of god.
Jesus’ father is our father. What did this reveal?
It revealed that God the Father loves us and knows each of us by name.
What is a person’s soul?
The soul is the spiritual dimension of people that never dies or is immortal.
The sin of Adam and Eve by which they and all people lost the state of original holiness, and death, evil and suffering entered the world is known as?
Original sin
Original sin is called original sin because it is the beginning of what?
All evil and sin in the world.
