2) Political: causes include exposure to alternative radical ideas, possibly at universities. There are both permissive factors and direct situational factors. Permissive: urbanization, the transportation system (used for escape), communications media, weapons availability, and the absence of security measures. Situational: loss of Palestinians homeland.
3) Organizational: A rational strategic course of action devised by a group. A cult is not organizational as a cult is dominated by a single leader.
4) Psychological: examines terrorists’ recruitment, personalities, beliefs, attitudes, motivations, and careers as terrorist.
