A

16,800’ MSL

17
Q

What is e make and horsepower of the engine?

A

Lycoming 180 brake horse power at 2700 RPM

18
Q

What is the estimated true airspeed at 5,000 feet and 65% power?

A

127 KTAS

19
Q

What combination of RPM and manifold pressure yields 65% power at 5,000’ MSL?

A

2200 RPM 23 MP

20
Q

How many gallons of fuel are consumed per hour at 65% power at 5,000’ MSL

A

9.0 gallons per hour

21
Q

How many usable gallons of fuel aircraft carry?

A

62 gallons of usable fuel.

22
Q

Where are the fuel tanks located and what are their capacities?

A

There is a 33 gallon fuel tank located in each wing, Providing 66 gallons of total fuel and 62 gallons of usable fuel in all flight conditions.

23
Q

With full fuel, 65% power, at 5000 feet, allowing a 45 minute reserve, what is the maximum duration?

A

Five hours 15 minutes

24
Q

What speed will give you the best glide ratio?

A

2650 lbs 73 KIAS
2250 lbs 67 KIAS
1850 lbs 61 KIAS

25
Q

What is the octane rating and color of the fuel used by the aircraft?

A

100LL Blue

26
Q

What weight of oil is used?

A

MIL -L-6082

All temperatures use SAE 20W-50

27
Q

Is the landing gear fixed manual hydraulic or electric?

A

The landing gear extension, retraction, and maingear down lock release operation is accomplished by hydraulic actuators powered by an electrically driven hydraulic power pack. The power pack is located aft of the firewall between the pilots and copilots rudder pedals. The hydraulic system fluid level maybe checked by utilizing the dipstick located on the top left side of the powerpack adjacent to the motor mounting flange. The system should be checked at 25 hour intervals.

28
Q

If retractable what is the backup system for lowering the gear?

A

An emergency hand-operated hydraulic pump located between the front seats, is provided for manual extension of landing gear in the event of the hydraulic system failure. The landing gear cannot be retracted with the hand pump.

29
Q

What is the maximum demonstrated allowable Crosswind component for the aircraft?

A

15 KIAS

30
Q

How many persons will the aircraft safely carry with full fuel?

A

3

31
Q

What is the maximum allowable weight the aircraft can carry in the baggage compartments?

A

200lbs

32
Q

What take off distance is required to clear a 50 foot obstacle at maximum gross weight at a pressure altitude of 5000 feet and 90°F? (Assume no wind and a hard surface runway)

A

3550 ft

33
Q

What take off distance is required to clear a 50 foot obstacle at maximum gross weight at a pressure altitude of sea level and 90°F? (Assume no wind and a hard surface runway)

A

2100 feet

34
Q

Does high humidity increase or decrease the takeoff distance?

A

Increase
