A change that produces one or more new substance
Many are difficult or impossible to reverse

A
A physical change happens when a substance changed state or shape, or breaks into pieces
No new substances are made
Many can be reversed

- Burning toast
- Steel rusting
- Cooking eggs, cakes, and other food

- Freezing juice to make an ice lolly
- Mixing sand with water
- Dissolving sugar in water

A
When an ice cube melts to make liquid water -> its particles begin to move around each other instead of being fixed in positions -> particle arrangements becomes random instead of regular
