Slow Flight AOB & Speed
No more than 15 deg AOB +/- 5 if turning, Maintain Vthr (threshold)
30 min of fuel under long range cruise is:
Approx 1,100 lbs
45 min of fuel under long range cruise is:
Approx 1,600 lbs
Speed at 50’ AGL on approach?
Vthr +/- 5 knots plus full gust increment or 1/3 crosswind component whichever is higher not to exceed 10 knots
Touchdown range Normal and Tactical?
First 3000 feet or first third whichever is less for Normal, and 500 feet for Tactical
Block Speed Flaps 1
150 KIAS
Block Speed Flaps 2
140 KIAS
Appropriate time/place for landing configuration:
No later then downwind to base turn
Final Approach Fix for instrument approaches
Two mile final for straight in
Block Speed Flaps Up
170 KIAS
Appropriate Flaps 1 configuration place:
Midfield downwind
Final approach inbound
Two dots below glidepath (prior to intercept)
