Gen 1 Switch
Auto: Allows automatic operation of EPGDS, closing Gen 1 contactor and connecting Gen 1 to DC BUS 1
Off: Opens Gen 1 contactor isolating GEN 1 from DC BUS 1
GPU Button
Push in: Connect GPU to Central Bus, according to system priority
Push out: Isolates DC GPU from Central Bus
GEN 2 Switch
Auto: allows automatic operation of EPGDS, closing GEN 2 contactor and connecting GEN 2 to DC BUS 2
Off: Opens Gen 2 contactor isolating Gen 2 from DC Bus 2
Bus Tie Knob
1 Open: BTC 1 open only isolates DC BUS 1 from Central bus, but the DC Bus is still powered by Gen 1. To completely isolate DC Bus 1 Gen 1 contactor must be opened. The same issue arises with BTC 2.
Auto: Allows the EPGDS to automatically operate the BTC 1 and BTC 2
2 Open: Opens the BTC 2, violating the DC Bus 2 and allows BTC 1 automatic operation
Elec Emer Button
Push In: Overrides the EPGDS automatic transfer to the electrical emergency circuitry, connecting Batt1 and Batt 2 directly to the Emergency Bus
Push Out: The power contractors operate automatically according to the electrical distribution logic
Batt 1 and 2 Switch
Batt 1 Switch: On: closes BC 1 contactor, connecting Hot Batt Bus 1 to the Emergency Bus
Batt2 Switch: On: Closes BC 2 contactor, connecting Hot Batt Bus 2 to the Central Bus
PED-BELTS/OFF
turns on the FASTEN SEAT BELTS signs in the cabin, removes AC power from portable electronic devices and turns on the main door courtesy/safety lights in the cabin.
BELTS/ON
turns on the FASTEN SEAT BELTS signs and supplies AC power to por- table electronic devices.
OFF/ON
turns off passenger signs in the cabin and supplies AC power to portable electronic devices.

SELECTOR TEST KNOB
* Selects the system which pilots wish to test.
* OncetheSTARTtestbuttonispressed,a selected condition is simulated. Accord- ing to the selection, aural warning, CAS messages or panels indications can be provided.
Takeoff Configuration Button
Checks the takeoff configuration
Pusher Cutout Button
When pushed in, illuminates the button, a CAS message is displayed and inhibits the pusher actuation
TAWS Cockpit Control Panel
G/S INHIB BUTTON
* Deactivate GPWS mode 5 (GSD and GPD) aural and visual alerts when they are deemed unnecessary by the aircrew.FLAP OVRD BUTTON
* Forces the FIT protection mode( GPWS Mode 4) to treat flaps as if they were in the landing position.TERR INHIB BUTTON
* Deactivate PDA/FLTA aural and visual alerts when they are deemed unnecessary by the aircrew.
Fuel Pump Selector Switch
- ON: Activatestheelectricfuelpump
- AUTO: Automatically activates electric fuel pump according to system logic
- OFF: Deactivates electric fuel pump
Crossfeed Valve Knob (XFEED)
-The crossfeed operation allows fuel transfer from tank to engine to balance the left and right wing tanks
LO1: Opens the crossfeed valve and turns on electric pump 2
OFF: Closes the crossfeed valve
LO2: Opens the crossfeed valve and turns on electric pump 1
Thrust Lever Position
*
MAX: selects maximum thrust mode settings.
*
TO/GA: selects takeoff and go-around mode settings.
*
CON/CLB: provides the maximum con- tinuous and climb mode settings.
*
MAX CRZ: selects the cruise mode setting.
* IDLE: selects the ground and flight idle thrust settings.
ENG START/STOP KNOB
- STOP: commands the FADEC to shut down the engine, provided the associated thrust lever is in the IDLE position.
- RUN: normal position for engine operation.
- START:(momentaryaction)initiatesthe engine starting sequence.
ENG IGNITION SWITCH
- ON: enables FADEC to continuously activate both exciters when the engine is running.
- AUTO: FADEC automatically controls the ignition system, depending on engine requirements in normal operation or autorelight.
- OFF: deactivates the ignition system. When engine is running, at idle or above, the FADEC disregards OFF position.
SHUTOFF 1 and SHUTOFF 2 Buttons
- PUSHED IN: closes the respective side fuel and bleed shutoff valves, enables fire extinguisher bottle discharging into the associated engine and illuminates the button with a white stripe light
- PUSHED OUT: disables the fire extin- guisher bottle discharge
BOTTLE Switch
- DISCH: discharges the fire extinguisher agent into the enabled engine
- OFF: the discharge circuitry is off
BLEED Switches
- AUTO: enable the respective (1 or 2) bleed system
- OFF:closestherespective(1or2)bleed system manually
Cross Bleed Knob
OFF: closes the cross bleed valve manually
WINDSHIELD HEATING SWITCH
- ON: activates the associated windshield heating system.
- OFF: deactivates the associated windshield heating system.
AIR DATA SYSTEM/ANGLE OF ATTACK HEATING KNOB
- OFF: deactivates the ADS heating system
- AUTO:allows automatic operation of the ADS heating system.
- ON: activates the ADS heating system.
WING/STABILIZER ICE PROTECTION SWITCH
*ON:activates the wing and the horizontal stabilizer anti-ice systems.
* OFF: deactivates the wing and the horizontal stabilizer anti-ice systems.
* ICE SPEED RESET: resets the SWPS to non-icing schedule and removes the SWPS ICE SPEED message.
ENGINE ICE PROTECTION SWITCH
*ON:activates the associated engine anti- ice system.
* OFF: deactivates the associated engine anti-ice system.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL SYSTEM KNOB
- OFF VENT: turns off all ACS lines and opens the RAV to emergency ventilation.
- 1: activates the left-hand line (ACS 1).
- BOTH: activates both lines (ACS 1 and ACS 2).
- 2:activates the right-hand line (ACS 2).
COCKPIT FAN KNOB (INNER)
- HI: selects the high rotation speed of the cockpit evaporator/recirculation fan for air conditioning purposes.
- MED: selects the medium rotation speed of the cockpit evaporator/recirculation fan for air conditioning purposes.
- LO:selects the low rotation speed of the cockpit evaporator/recirculation fan for cockpit heating purposes.
CABIN FAN KNOB (OUTER)
- HI: selects the high rotation speed of the cabin evaporator/recirculation fan for air conditioning purposes.
- MED: selects the medium rotation speed of the cabin evaporator/recirculation fan for air conditioning purposes.
- LO: selects the low rotation speed of the cabin evaporator/recirculation fan for cabin heating purposes.
AIR CONDITIONING TEMPERATURE MODE SWITCH
- MAN: selects the manual operation of the temperature control system.
- AUTO: selects the automatic opera- tion of the temperature control system according to the pilot temperature zone preselection (cockpit and cabin).
- OFF: turns off the VCS (compressor/
condenser fan and evaporators). In this position the temperature automatic mode is kept operative
AIR CONDITIONING TEMPERATURE MANUAL SWITCH
- This momentary switch selects the manual cockpit and cabin temperature control.
- Press up (H) in order to increase and down (C) in order to decrease the cockpit and cabin duct temperature.
CABIN TEMPERATURE CONTROL KNOB (OUTER)
- Selects the cabin automatic temperature control according to the knob position.
- Rotating the knob beyond the first stop, after the click, switches over the cabin temperature control to the passenger cabin control panel, if installed.
COCKPIT TEMPERATURE CONTROL KNOB (INNER)
*Selects the cockpit automatic temperature control according to the knob position.
PRESSURIZATION MODE SELECTOR SWITCH
- AUTO: allows the automatic operation of the pressurization control system.
- MAN: allows the manual operation of the pressurization control system.
DUMP BUTTON (GUARDED)
- Provides rapid cabin depressurization by opening the outflow valve. It also com- mands off the recirculation fans.
- When pressed, the dump function is activated and a white striped bar illuminates on the button. The function is effective in both the automatic mode and manual mode. When pressed a second time, the system returns to normal.
CABIN ALTITUDE SELECTOR SWITCH
- UP: manually opens the outflow valve, increasing the cabin altitude.
- DN: manually closes the outflow valve, decreasing the cabin altitude.
BLEED SWITCHES
- The BLEED 1 and BLEED 2 switches represent Left and Right Bleed Systems, respectively.
- AUTO: enable the respective (1 or 2) bleed system.
- OFF:closestherespective(1or2)bleed system manually.
CROSS BLEED KNOB
- OFF: closes the cross bleed valve manually.
- AUTO: enable the cross bleed valve.
Hydraulic Pump SOV Switch
- OPEN: commands the Fire Shutoff Valve (FSOV) to open.
- CLOSED: commands the Fire Shutoff Valve (FSOV) to close.
DOWNLOCK RELEASE BUTTON (MOMENTARY ACTION)
Mechanically releases the landing gear lever lock.
QUICK DISCONNECT BUTTON
Disables all trim motion (roll, yaw, pitch) and the pusher actuation as long as the button is pressed. The autopilot is also disengaged.
Releasing the switch re-enables all trim motion and the pusher actuation, but the autopilot remains disengaged.
SPEED BRAKE SWITCH
- CLOSE:Spoilerpanelsclosetoitsfully retracted position.
- OPEN: Spoiler panels deploy as speed brakes.
