Work out a casualty’s fluids if they received burns to the front and rear of their torso and weigh 77 kg?
A
4ml x 36% x 77 = 11,088 L. Total
11,088 \ 2 = 5.544 L first 8 hrs.
- 544 \ 8 = .696 L each 1 hr
- 544 \ 16 = 0.343 L each hour for the last 16 hrs.
