What are the 5 green bases?

What are the 4 warm bases?
wild rice, quinoa, cauliflower rice (not offered but available), black beans (not offered but available)
What are the 4 different bowl types?
salad (dine-in&togo), warm (dine-in&togo)
What are premium hot toppings?
toppings available for guests to add for an additional price;
Why do you need to be careful when portioning “crunches”?
Many of the toppings are allergens, so you need to be careful to avoid cross-contamination while portioning.
What is the difference between the core cold toppings and the premium cold toppings?
Premium cold toppings cost extra to add, while core cold toppings are free.
How can you tell the difference between the salad and warm bowls?
Salad bowls have a circle surrounding the SG logo.
How can you tell you portioned the correct amount of greens?
There are fill lines (faint line closest to the bottom).
What do you do if a customer wants to add grains to a salad bowl?
Just add one full scoop on top of the bed of greens.
What do you do if customers want to remove the grains from a warm bowl?
Use the salad bowl instead of the warm bowl and fill to the fill line.
Why do you add the dressing before any of the toppings?
To ensure the greens have time to “marinate” in the dressing and enhance the flavor.
What is the build order of salads?
1) bowl type
2) greens and/or grains
3) citrus (squeezed)
4) dressing
5) core cold toppings
6) premium hot toppings
7) crunches
8) premium cold toppings/finishers
9) bread (if requested)
What is the difference between building dine-in and OLO orders?
For OLO orders, you put the sauce ramekin in the middle of the base and add toppings clockwise starting from the 12 o’clock postion.
What all comes with a basic custom salad?
Choice of base, 4 core cold toppings, and dressing; Extra toppings are an additional $0.50 each (excludes premium cold and hot toppings which cost more)
What is unique about the building process for OLO orders?
The build order is printed on a chit for each salad. This even applies to core/seasonal salads and not just custom bowls.
