The practice in which you attempt to achieve enlightenment

A way to achieve oneself and towards many deites as a way of focusing the mind
Where do Buddhists pray
They pray in temples, shrines and monasteries
Who do they face in the shrines and what do they do
Usually towards Buddha and give offerings
What’s different from a monastery to both shrine and temple
A monastery is where nuns and monks dedicate there lives to their belief and live there
What does Karuna mean
It is compassion Buddhists show towards all the suffering in the world
What is metta
Loving-kindness they wish to develop
Five moral precepts
Abstain from taking life
Abstain from taking what is not freely given
Abstain from misuse of the senses or sexual misconduct
Abstain from wrong speech
Abstain from intoxicants that cloud the mind

Generosity or giving Morality Patience Energy Meditation Wisdom
What is puja
Worship
Why did Buddhist chant
Because before typewriters and all of that they could only express and remember texts orally via chanting
What is Samatha meditation
A calming meditation in which you focus on your breathing with the likes of a blue triangle or candle flame
What is Vipassana meditation
Insight meditation can reflect on one thing of any kind
What is visualisation
When they imagine an object or thing in their mind and focus on it
What is a deity
A deity isn’t a god but someone who achieved enlightenment such as the Buddha
