Mahayana Buddhist achieve enlightened by following the teaching of the Buddhas. Strive to become Bodhisattvas which they achieve through the 6 perfections.Compassion is very important for Bodhisattvas and they stay through the cycle of samsara to help other become enlightened

A

A branch of Mahayana Buddhism they believe in entering the pure land known as the Buddha field. Humans should strive to enter the Buddha field. This belongs the Amitabha Buddha . does not rely on freeing others. You have to say Namo Amitabha Buddha
