How does brownian motion work?
A
Tiny water molecules (smaller than a billionth of a meter) move around and cause the pollen grains to move around randomly.

What is diffusion?
A
Diffusion occurs because the air particles are always moving so it causes diffusion. Diffusion happens in liquids and gases because their particles move randomly from space to space.

Why is diffusion faster in gases than liquids?
A
Because the space between the constituent particles in gases are higher than liquid particles. So particles in gases possess higher kinetic energy and in higher speeds.

A
Tells us that all things on earth that made of particles and are in one of the tree states of matter: solids, liquids and gases.
