sputum culture: h.influenza, pseudomonas aeruginosa
chest x-ray findings: tram-track opacities (parallel line shadows), ring shadows
high resolution CT- test of choice

physical training
postural drainage
antibiotics for exacerbations + long term rotating antibiotic in severe cases
