Mastitis in Lactating Women that are breast feeding

A
Milk stasis + Staph aureus => Mastitis

Painful swollen lump
Redness + Heat in affected area
Malaise

A
AB culture
Ultrasound => Rule out breast cancer

Ultrasound guided needle aspiration + AB

Floxacillin + Erythromycin
