1 → Decide where and when to hold the consultation,
2 → Make sure you are familiar with the case, diagnosis and management options,
3 → Check what the patient already knows,
4 → Assess what the patient wants to know at this stage, 5 → Give appropriate information in an understandable way,
6 → Respond to the patient’s reaction,
7 → Make a plan for further management and follow up
