Q
Middle pontine syndrome
A
Paramedian branches of basilar artery
Ipsilateral: Ipsilateral ataxia Ipsilateral abducens paresis Internuclear opthalmoplegia Paralysis of gaze to side of lesion bc of paramedian pontine reticular formation lesion
Contralateral:
Corticospinalis
Dorsal column
Bilateral: Locked in syndrome - Only eye movement and aware, no sensation too!
4
Q
Lateral pontine syndrome
A
Anteroinferior or superior cerebellar artery
Ipsilateral: Horner Ataxia 5/7/8 loss Paralysis of side gaze to lesion because of paramedian pontine reticular formation
Contralateral:
