Cardiovascular and respiratory vital functions, reflexive actions (coughing, sneezing, vomiting, etc),
Pons Functions (5)
Head and Face sensations, motor control of eyes, face, and mouth, hearing, equilibrium, and autonomic functions such as tear and saliva production
Midbrain (3)
eye movements and visual processing, auditory processing, produces dopamine
What is the diencephalon? (3)
In between midbrain and the cerebral hemispheres, the diencephalon contains the thalamus, hypothalamus, and the epithalamus
Hypothalamus function (4)
Hypothalamus regulates autonomic functions such as body temperature, thirst, hunger, and circadian rhythm
