What is an Open and Closed TBI
1 - Open - Where the skull is penetrated and the brain is exposed
2 - Closed - Where an insult to the brain occurs but there is no penetration

1 - Amygdala - impulsivity and aggression
2 - Frontal areas - impulsivity
What are consequences of a TBI
1 - Loss of memory
2 - loss of awareness
3 -decreased awareness of emotional state
4 -poor impulse control
