Brachial Plexus Flashcards
Musculocutaneous nerve Roots
c5, c6, c7
Musculocutaneous nerve muscles
Coracobrachialis, biceps brachii, brachialis
Ulnar nerve roots
c8, t1
Ulnar nerve forearm muscles
flexor carpi ulnari, ulnar half of flexor digitorum
Ulner nerve hand muscles
All anterior of hand except Thenar eminence and radial 2 lumbricals
Median nerve roots
c6, c7,c8, t1
Median nerve forearm muscles
all anterior forearm muscles except flexor carpi ulnas, and ulnar two digitation of flexor digitorum
median nerve hand muscles
muscles of thenar eminence - opponent polices, abductorpollicis brevis, flexor polices brevis, radial two lumbricals
Axillary nerve roots
c5 ,c6
axillary nerve muscles
teres minor, deltoid
radial nerve roots
All of them
radial nerve muscles
all arm, all forearm
lateral cord
superior trunk, anterior, leads to musculocutaneous and branches to median. also has supra scapular, dorsal scapular, nerve to sublavius, lateral pectoral
Posterior cord
Middle trunk, posterior, leads to axillary and radial, Lower sub scapular, upper sub scapular, Thoracodorsal
Medial cord
inferior trunk, medial, leads to ulnarand branches to median, also branches to medial pectoral, medial brachial cutaneous, medial ante brachial cutaneous
