What is the brachial plexus made from?
Anterior rami of cervical spinal nerves of C5-T1
Where is the brachial plexus located?
Neck, continues through the axillary inlet into axilla.
What does brachial plexus do?

Where do the roots and trunks of plexus enter?
The posterior triangle of the neck between anterior and middle scalene muscles. Lie superior and posterior to subclavian artery.
What are parts of brachial plexus called?
Roots, Trunks, Cords, Divisions, Branches.
Run To Drink Cold Beer
Does it supply skin or muscle?
BOTH
What are the trunks of the brachial plexus?
Superior, inferior and middle
What is the root value of the superior trunk?
C5 and C6
Which roots make middle trunk?
C7
Which roots make inferior trunk?
C8 and T1
What do trunks pass over before dividing?
Pass laterally over rib I
What does each trunk divide into?
Anterior and posterior division
What does the 3 anterior divisions form?
peripheral nerves supplying arm and forearm
What does the 3 posterior divisions form?
peripheral nerves supplying posterior compartment.
What is formed by the anterior division of the superior and middle trunk?
Lateral cord.
