What is the socio-technical approach to job design?
A
A job must:
- Be reasonably demanding and have variety (variety)
- Allow for continuous learning (feedback)
- Give employee decision making room that they own (autonomy)
- Afford employee with social support and recognition (significance)
- Allow employee to relate what they do/produce to social life (identity)

What needs to happen for change to be more accepted?
A
- Determine the change (i.e what changed)
- Build executive support (start from top)
- Develop the plan
- Execute the plan
- Persist through challenges (act accordingly as stakeholders go through the acceptance process)
- Reinforce adoption (Highlight and reward steps towards adoption)
