thumbprinting due to oedema and haemorrhage

A
supportive unless surgery indicated (perforation, haemorrhage, peritonitis)

small bowel
usually embolism causing occlusion of an artery

A
sudden severe pain out of keeping with exam findings PR bleed diarrhoea fever raised WBC and lactic acidosis
