What are the clinical signs and diagnosis of lumpy jaw?
Clinical signs: Lesions develop in the mandible or maxilla or soft tissues after entering through oral abrasions. Typical lesions is a hard, immovable mass on the mandible. Fistulous tracts may develop. Teeth may be involved leading to weight loss because of difficult chewing.
Diagnosis: Gram-positive filaments us, branching organism. Sulfur granules may occur.
