work or employment.
OSH
deals with understanding the causes of accidents at work and ways to prevent unsafe act and unsafe conditions in any workplace. Safety at work discusses concepts on good housekeeping, proper materials handling and storage, machine safety, electrical safety,
fire prevention and control, safety inspection, and accident investigation.
occupational safety
is a broad concept which explains how the different hazards and risks at work may cause an illness and emphasizes that health programs are essential in controlling work related and/or occupational diseases.
occupational health
discusses the identification, evaluation, and control of physical, chemical, biological and ergonomic hazards.
occupational hygiene
Are mandatory rules and standards set and
enforced to eliminate or reduce occupational
safety and health hazards in the workplace
OSH Standards
The OSH Standards are mandatory rules on
occupational safety and health promulgated pursuant
to Article 162, Book IV of the Labor Code of the
Philippines
OSH Standards
Refers to the physical or environmental conditions of work which comply with
prescribed Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Standards and which allow the workers to perform the job without or within acceptable exposure limit to hazards.

Means a sound state of the body and mind of the workers that enables the worker or employee to perform the job normally.
health
is the chance or probability that a person will be
harmed or experience an adverse health effect if exposed to a hazard
risk
Anything source,situation,act)with the potential to cause harm. Harm including ill health and injury, damage to property, plant, products or the environment, production losses or increased liabilities.
