“The Médoc (“Meh-dok”) focuses on Cabernet Sauvignon-based wines grown mostly in gravel and clay soils. Wines tend to deliver earthy fruit flavors, grippy tannin, and a medium to full body. Despite the earthy flavors, the style is clean and polished.
