What are the Seven Sacraments?
Baptism is when someone’s original sin is washed away.
• Eucharist is when Christians remember the Last Supper. The recieve the body and blood of Jesus.
• Comfirmation is when someone renews and confirms their vows that were made on their behalf when they were baptised.
• Reconciliation is when someone confesses their sins and recieves forgiveness for them from God.
• Anointing of the Sick is given to someone who is in danger of becoming more sick from a serious illness or who is likely to die soon.
• Marriage is when someone gives themselves totally to another person.
• Holy Orders is when someone vows to lead other Catholics by bringing them the sacraments especially the Eucharist.
What does each type of domestic abuse mean?
Physical Physical harm given to someone
• Sexual Rape, sexual acts lacking of consent
• Verbal / Emotional The use of words to harm someone or make them feel threatened.
• Psychological Wearing away at someones sense of mental wellbeing and health.
• Financial Not letting someone earn money or spend money as a way of maintaining
power.
• Cyber Abuse that happens online.
