Minimum of 10 ft.
Site selection for monitor?
Flat, even surface within 8 ft of the 4” inch supply hose loop or sturdy object that can be used as an attachment point.
Where is ladder strap secured?
Ladder strap first female coupling alongside 4” inch hose 10 ft back from male coupling.
How do we lubricate for maintenance?
Worm gear lubrication, elevate nozzle to highest elevation and pump grease (medium viscosity automotive) into the fitting (zerk) in the worm gear housing until excess appears.
What is the friction loss for the portable monitor?
Pump at the following pressures to the shut off valve at the inlet of the portable monitor. SPRAY TIP (PSI) 350 GPM - 105 PSI 500 GPM - 115 PSI 750 GPM - 110 PSI 1000 GPM - 125 PSI Portable Monitor: Maximum of 1000 GPM
Maintenance?
The Crossfire monitor and its base require little maintenance. The unit should be kept clean and freeof dirt by flushing with water after each use. After each use, the unit should be inspected according
to the following guide. All controls should be checked for freedom of movement and condition. Any
inoperable or damaged part should be repaired or replaced immediately.
