- Lobby control
- Officer becomes IC
- Supply water- 1st 200 engine, if 1st and 2nd are engines, 2nd engine will supply water

- Atleast 1/2 mile from building
- Remain 500 feet from building and command post

Elevators
- Equipped with phase 1 and phase 2 may be used
- IC has ultimate responsibility to authorize or discontinue use
- imperative offices have knowledge of phase II elevators
- If elevators are utilized they shall not be taken to a location closer than two floors below the reported fire floor or two floors below the lowest indicated alarm floor location.
- in this situcation, fire attack team will exit elevatir two floors below reported floor and proceed to an appropriate stairwell.
- the officer shall notify IC of the stairwell being utilized.

RIC operations
- Minimum- engine, light force or squad and ALS rescue
- May need more than 1 RIC team (based on size)
- Reports to IC/operation, the supervisor when filled
- Rescue group supervisor is usually B/C
- Consider 1 RIC per stairwell
