Cells from the osteoblasts which maintain bone

Epiphysis at the bone end
Metaphysis where the bone grows
Diaphysis where the shaft is in the middle
What is the periosteum?
The outside of the bone
What is the endosteum?
Membrane on the inside of the bone
What is a tubercle?
Small rounded projection where muscles attach
What are tuberosities?
Large roughened surfaces which are rounded or flat
