PMU SWITCH - OFF
PROP SYS CIRCUIT BREAKER (left front console) - PULL, IF Np STABLE BELOW 40%

  • Incorrect signal to feather dump solenoid may cause feather, pulling PROP SYS CB removes power from solenoid and prop unfeathers
  • 15-20 seconds to fully unfeather
  • PCL above idle is best for engine recovery
  • Ground idle not available during landing
  • If rate of descent at 125 knots is greater than 1500 ft/min, use power up to 131% torque to achieve 1350-1500 ft/min descent. If unable, set PCL off

  1. Canopy: Inspect the canopy/inspection lines
  2. Visor: Raise for better visibility
  3. Mask: Remove mask/CRU 60 (discard)
  4. Seat survival kit: Check that it deployed, hanging off LEFT (If not then pull kit release)
  5. LPU: Find reg toggles and pull downward to inflate
  6. Steer
