Enforce rules of no
eating,drining, smoking, applying cosmetics, or handling contact lenses in areas of potential risk.
Provide appropriate containers that are
color coded coded for contaminated trash and labeled container.
Post signs at the entrance to work areas where there is occupational exposure to
biohazardous material
Wear blank to dispose of any biohazard bags
gloves
If linens are soaked with blood, place in desgianted linen bag or dispose of in
biohazard trash.
Any cut, injury, needlestick or splashing must be
reported
