Q
Edema
A
Caused by congestive pulmonary arteries
2
Q
Edema causes
A
Filtration > réabsorption
Increase in capillary blood pressure > fluid to leave te capillaries
Increase permeability of capillaries = decrease blood colloid osmotic pressure
Decrease of blood plasma proteins because of inadequate synthesis of proteins = BCOP
3
Q
Varicose veins
A
Back flow occurs in weak venous valves. Congenital or mechanical factors of aging
4
Q
Thrombophlebitis
A
Swelling of a vein caused by a clot (deep & superficial veins)
