What is the blood supply of the cerebellum?
Superior, middle and inferior cerebellar arteries.
Which artery supplies the medial aspect of cerebral hemispheres?
Anterior cerebral artery.
What artery supplies the lateral aspect of cerebral hemispheres?
Middle cerebral artery.
What are the 3 branches of the MCA?
Superior - supplies anterior to central sulcus and a small portion of post-central gyrus.
Inferior - supplies all the rest.
Lenticulostriate - supply the internal capsule.
What is the blood supply of the internal capsule?
Lenticulostriate arteries - branches of the MCA.
What arteries supply the anterior 2/3 of the spinal cord (everything except dorsal columns)?
Anterior spinal arteries - branches of vertebral arteries.
Which 2 arteries supply the thalamus?
Thalamoperforator and thalamogeniculate (both branches of PCA).
What is the blood supply of the brainstem?
Arteries of the posterior circulation (pons supplied by pontine arteries).
