What is Lymphona?

A
  • Malignant transformation of B or T lymphocytes
  • Hodgkins: often begin in neck
  • Non-Hodgkins: painless enlarged cervical nodes, infections, ulceration

Lymphoma- 50% cases present with painless neck node

Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura is an immune disorder in which the blood doesn’t clot normally. ITP can cause excessive bruising and bleeding

A

•Treatment steroids, immunosupressants, splenectomy,
thrombopoiesis stimulating drugs

Avoid regional blocks
•Avoid aspirin and NSAID (damage platelets)
•Specialist care for dental procedures
