Jesus arrived in Jericho whit his disciples and a large crowd. A blind beggar called Bartimaeus son of Timaeus was sitting by the road. When he heard Jesus he began to shout,”Jesus! Son of David! Take pity on me!” Many people told him to be quiet but he kept shouting, “Son of David, take pity on me!” Jesus noticed and called him over, the people said, “cheer up! Get up, he is calling you.” He jumped and threw off his cloak. Jesus then said to him,”What do you want me to do for you?” The blind man answered,”Teacher, I want to see again.” Jesus said,”Go, your faith has made you well.” At once the man could see and followed Jesus on the road.
