• Esophageal varices
• Esophageal ulcer, cancer
• Mallory–Weiss syndrome

causes> hematochezia
duo to: • haemorrhoids or anal fissure
• colonic carcinoma or polyp
• IBD, ischaemic colitis.(bloody diarrhea)

• Was there fresh blood in the vomitus ,amount ? Or was the vomitus
coffee-grain stained? • Black stools or blood in the stools?
• lost weight?
