When Px in Man, What indication do you look to, to set Cabin Px.
Cabin Rate. When at desired alt set 0 on Rate.
What should be monitored in High decent rates?
Differential Px. Forcing Safety Valve to open can cause damage.
Auto Ground mode
Outflow and safety valves open.
- WOW
- Power Levers < 33.1°
- Bleed air Pressurized
Pressurization
Auto Prep-Press mode
- Px Levers Flt Idle: Cabin alt descends <300’ below fld elevation.
- If abort: Cabin alt climbs 500fpm for 20”, then 2k fpm until depressurized.
Auto Climb mode
WoffW or Gear retracted IAS . 100kts, alt schedualed
Auto Cruise Mode
A/C remains ±200’ for 10min. Cabin alt maintained until >200’ for 10 or >500’.
Auto Decent mode
Alt dec > 1k. pressure schedule maint until set ref alt reached.
Auto Landing mode
WOW, or Gear down and <60kts
NO Press
. Cabin alt is equalized at set rate
. at .5 hg outflow and safety valves open.
Aux Vent
. Both A/Cs FCVs closed . Floor Heat SOVs Closed . Aux Vent Valves opened . Outflow opens to dep at 3,000 fpm . When dif Px
Emer Depress sw
