Function of the Bladder
store fluid via its qi transformation action to convert the waste into urine for excretion
Many Points on the Bladder channel are important in:
- Eliminating both exterior and interior wind (bc it [taiyang] is the most superficial of the six channels
- treating disorders of mania and epilepsy (BL2,10,60,66)
- treating disorders of spirit (BL 13,15,18) due to their action on the LU, HT, and LV Zang
- Expel exterior wind from the eye, pacify interior wind, and treat disorders of the eyes, nose, head and face
- treats disorders of lumbar, anus, and leg (BL 36 to 60)
No BL points line up with :
DU20 and T8

Indications: dizziness, inability of legs to support the body; pain and heaviness of the head; headache; headwind mania; epilepsy

Location : Lower Border of T1
Needling- Oblique towards the spine, .5 to 1 cun or transverse oblique 1 to 1.5 cun
Actions: Benefits the bones and joints; expels pathogenic factors and firms the exterior; regulates lung qi and alleviates cough
Indications: bone diseases, rigidity of nape of neck and spine, fever, cough, fullness of chest
