Very common in the bladder
When columnar cell metaplasia appears in the lumen, as seen here, it is referred to as “cystitis glandularis”

Granulomatous cystitis
Generally indicates one of three things:
1. Mycobacterium tuberculosis
2. Post-BCG topical therapy for urothelial carcinoma (remember, BCG activates trained immunity)
3. Schistosomiasis (Hx of travel, bladder wall will contains purple fragments of eggs)
