People soemtimes skip doses in order to afford their medicines which is not ideal.
This is morally repugnant but this is due to the high unregulation.
Richard Gonzalez’s multi-million pound bonus was due to the sale of Humira, therefore people cannot have this medication

Biologic drugs are often more expensive in US the EU, in 2018 AbbVie agreed to 80% reduction in ceryain EU countries for Humira after introduction of many biosimilars.

  • Vigorous but needs this to promote innovation
  • NHS and NICE need to curb influence of patient pressure groups
  • Ensures that drugs are available to more people.
