Q

what is the process of the release of hormones from endocrine glands in the endocrine system ?

A
  1. The endocrine gland secretes hormones into the bloodstream due to a signal from the brain.
2.Hormones travel to their target cells and stimulate receptors on the surface/inside these cells.
  2. the presence of the hormone causes a reaction in the cell which alters its activity.
  3. Each hormone effects behaviour in different ways.
