Low levels or no salt in water. Supports lots of animals and some aquatic plant life.
Freshwater
Warm, wet, lots of plant and animal life
Tropical Forest
Dry, almost no plant, often located in the centre of the continent (away from coast)
Deserts
Vegetation mostly grasses that can support many animal types. Can be very dry or very wet depending on it’s location.
Grasslands
Mild temperatures and wet weather, lots of trees and animal life
Temperate Forest
Cold, windy, low lying vegetation that won’t be blown over
Mountain Vegatation
Cold, wet filled with coniferous trees
Boreal Forest
Cold, short growing seasons and no trees
Tundra
Very cold and dry, very little animal life, almost no vegetation
